1. Introduction

1.1 Company Information

Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provide mobile fuel draining and contamination
removal services throughout the UK. We assist customers who have mistakenly misfuelled or whose vehicles contain
AdBlue, water, or other contaminants.

1.2 Acceptance of Terms

By requesting our services directly (e.g., through our website, phone number, or any other direct channel), you
(“you” or “the customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms &
Conditions (“T&Cs”).

1.3 Service Descriptions

We specialise in:

• Fuel Drain Services (removal of incorrect fuel).


• AdBlue Contamination Removal (AdBlue fluid in diesel fuel systems).


• Water and Other Contamination Removal (water or other pollutants in the fuel tank).

We do not provide comprehensive mechanical or engine repair services. Any advice on repairs or potential damage is
given on a best-effort basis, informed by our technicians’ experience and the information you provide.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Commencement of Work

Once we begin draining the contaminated fuel (or undertake any part of the agreed-upon service), you are liable for
the full service fee outlined in these Terms & Conditions—plus any additional charges incurred—even if your
vehicle cannot be fully restarted, or if further work is interrupted or prevented by factors beyond our control.

2.2 Fuel Draining

Our primary objective is to remove as much contaminated fuel or fluid from your vehicle’s fuel system as possible,
using industry-standard equipment and techniques.

2.3 No Guarantee of Vehicle Restart

We will make reasonable efforts to restart your vehicle if it is safe and feasible, but do not guarantee that the
vehicle will start or remain free from further issues after our service.

2.4 Post-Service Recommendations

Because residual contaminants may remain, we strongly recommend:

• Refilling with a full tank of correct fuel immediately.


• Using a suitable fuel additive (consult our technician).


• Replacing the fuel filter as soon as possible (if required).


• Scheduling a professional inspection or diagnostic check.

3. Special Conditions for AdBlue, Water, or Other Contamination

3.1 Higher Risk of Damage

Vehicles contaminated with AdBlue, water, or other substances are at higher risk of significant engine and fuel
system damage. Corrosion, crystallisation, or unseen mechanical failures can arise later—even if the vehicle
initially runs without apparent problems.

Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents assume no liability for damage discovered after our service.

3.2 Extended Draining Process

Removing AdBlue, water, or similar contaminants often requires more time and specialised procedures than standard
petrol/diesel misfuelling. While we strive to remove all contamination, complete elimination might not be possible
without additional mechanical interventions.

3.3 Professional Inspection

We strongly encourage vehicles exposed to AdBlue, water, or other contaminants to undergo a thorough professional
inspection (e.g., with a manufacturer’s dealership or another qualified technician). We may recommend immediate fuel
filter replacement and again at around 200 miles.

4. Fees, Payment, and Cancellations

4.1 Service Fees

Our standard service fee covers call-out, up to 60 minutes of drain work, and (where possible) a system flush to
remove contaminants.

If work extends beyond 60 minutes or additional services are required, extra charges apply as follows:

• Over 60 Minutes: £75 + VAT per hour (billed in 20-minute intervals).


• Waiting Fees: Any wait over 5 minutes is billed at £75 + VAT per hour (in 5-minute intervals).


• Jump Start: £10 + VAT.


• Diagnostics (Code Clearing): £20 + VAT.


• Spark Plug Removal/Cleaning: £10 + VAT per plug.


• Towing: £50 + VAT.


• Fuel: 10L at approx. pump prices inc. VAT.

By agreeing to these T&Cs, you pre-authorise us to perform and bill for such services if deemed necessary by
our technician.

4.2 Attendance Fee (No Drain)

If our technician attends but cannot perform or complete a drain due to:

• No actual misfuelling or contamination.


• The vehicle or location being unsafe/inaccessible.


• Mechanical issues preventing completion.


• Any other reason outside Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents’ control.

A £75 + VAT attendance fee will apply.

4.3 Payment Terms

Payment may be taken before or after the service, at the technician’s discretion. Acceptable methods: cash, card, or
bank transfer. Any deposit or payment made upfront is non-refundable unless you cancel within 10 minutes of booking.

5. Safety Guidelines

5.1 Work Area Safety

Keep at least 5 metres distance from our service van, your vehicle, and any coned-off area. Do not enter the vehicle
or the work area while the service is in progress.

5.2 Smoking & Mobile Phones

Smoking, vaping, and mobile phone use are strictly prohibited near our work area for safety reasons.

5.3 Customer Cooperation

You agree to follow any safety instructions given by our technicians.

6. Liability Disclaimer

6.1 No Liability for Consequential Damages

Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, or
consequential damages—including, but not limited to, damage to the vehicle’s engine or fuel system, loss of
business, profits, time, personal injury, or property damage—arising out of or relating to:

• The initial misfuelling, AdBlue, water, or other contamination incident.


• 
  Our efforts in removing contamination, restarting the vehicle, or any subsequent issues that manifest during or
  after the service.
  


• Any advice or recommendations provided by our technicians.

6.2 Vehicle Condition & Warranties

Our observations are based on information you provide and what our technicians see at the time. We do not offer
formal mechanical diagnoses. Our service may affect or void existing warranties. You are responsible for checking
warranty conditions before authorising our work.

6.3 Customer Responsibility

Damage to engine components may have existed prior to our service or appear later due to contamination. You are
responsible for any further repairs or inspections.

6.4 No Guarantee of Complete Removal

Complete removal of contaminants is not guaranteed due to vehicle design constraints. A small amount may remain,
potentially causing future issues.

7. Disposal of Contaminated Fuel

7.1 Ownership of Contaminated Fuel

All recovered contaminated fuel or fluid becomes the property of Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents. We
dispose of it in compliance with environmental regulations and reserve the right to charge associated fees.

8. Authorisation to Access Vehicle

8.1 Permission to Intercept

By allowing us to proceed, you authorise Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents to access all necessary
components of your vehicle—including interior panels—in order to perform the drain. While we will take reasonable
care, we are not liable for any damage, misalignment, or incomplete reattachment of panels or components that may
occur during removal or refitting.

8.2 Customer Obligations

• Remove personal belongings from any areas we may need to enter.


• Disclose any known hazards or modifications.

9. Data Protection

9.1 Customer Information

We collect only the personal data required to deliver our services. We may retain your data for follow-up, quality
assurance, or limited marketing; you can opt out of marketing at any time. We do not sell or share your data with
unaffiliated entities unless required by law or necessary for performing our services or to dispute parking charges
that may arise from attending your vehicle.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

10.1 Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of [England and Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland – as appropriate], with
exclusive jurisdiction belonging to the courts of that region.

11. Severability

If any clause is found unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

12. Entire Agreement

12.1 Suppression

These T&Cs, along with any related invoice or quote, constitute the entire agreement between you and Simple Fuel
Solutions Limited and its agents, overriding all prior communications.

13. Amendments

13.1 Right to Update

We reserve the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website or communicated
to you directly. Your continued use of our services signifies acceptance of any changes.
