Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 Company Information

Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provide mobile fuel draining and contamination removal services on behalf of major breakdown/recovery companies and other third-party providers.

Acceptance of Terms

By receiving our services through a third-party or breakdown provider, you (“the customer”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”), in addition to any terms set by the third-party provider.

Service Descriptions

We specialise in:

  • Fuel Drain Services (removal of incorrect fuel).
  • AdBlue Contamination Removal (AdBlue fluid in diesel fuel systems).
  • Water and Other Contamination Removal (water or other pollutants in the fuel tank).

We do not provide comprehensive mechanical or engine repair services. Any advice on repairs or potential damage is given on a best-effort basis, informed by our technicians’ experience and the information you provide.

Scope of Services
Fuel Draining

Our mission is to remove as much contaminated fuel or fluid as possible, using standard industry procedures.

No Guarantee of Vehicle Restart

We may attempt to restart the vehicle if it is safe but do not guarantee its ongoing performance.

Post-Service Recommendations

Residual contamination can remain. We strongly advise:

  • Refilling with a full tank of correct fuel immediately.
  • Using a suitable fuel additive (ask our technician).
  • Replacing the fuel filter as soon as possible (if required).
  • Seeking professional mechanical assistance if any issues persist.
Special Conditions for AdBlue, Water, or Other Contamination
Higher Risk of Damage

AdBlue, water, or other contaminants may cause extensive damage to the fuel system and engine. Corrosion or crystallisation problems might show up later.

Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents accept no liability for damage discovered after our service.

Extended Draining Process

Removal of certain contaminants (e.g., AdBlue, water) may require more time and specialised equipment than a standard misfuel. Complete removal may not be feasible without additional mechanical intervention.

Professional Inspection

We strongly encourage vehicles exposed to AdBlue, water, or other contaminants to undergo a thorough professional inspection (e.g., with a manufacturer’s dealership or another qualified technician).

We may suggest immediate fuel filter replacement and another after 200 miles.

Subcontractor Relationship & Fees
Third-Party Governance

Because you engaged our service via a third-party or breakdown provider, their fee structure and terms generally apply.

Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents do not set or collect fees directly from you, except in instances where additional fuel is provided (e.g., up to 10 litres at the approximate national pump price).

Commencement of Work

In cases where we handle extra fuel or additional tasks beyond the scope covered by your third-party provider, once we begin any related service, you are liable for those additional charges—even if the vehicle cannot be fully restarted or the work is interrupted for reasons beyond our control.

Safety Guidelines
Work Area Safety

Remain at least 5 metres from our van, your vehicle, and any coned-off work area.

Do not enter the vehicle or the work area during service.

Smoking & Mobile Phones

Smoking, vaping, and phone use are strictly prohibited near the work area.

Customer Cooperation

You agree to follow any safety instructions provided by our technicians.

Liability Disclaimer
No Liability for Consequential Damages

Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages—including (but not limited to) engine or fuel system damage, loss of business, time, profits, personal injury, or property damage—arising out of or relating to:

  • The misfuelling, AdBlue, water, or other contamination event.
  • Our efforts in removing contaminants, restarting the vehicle, or any subsequent issues occurring during or after the service.
  • Any advice or recommendations provided by our technicians.
Vehicle Condition & Warranties

Our assessments are based on your information and on-the-spot observations. We do not perform formal mechanical diagnoses.

The service may affect or void existing warranties; you must confirm warranty terms before proceeding.

Customer Responsibility

Damage may have existed beforehand or may appear later as a result of contamination. You are responsible for additional repairs or inspections.

No Guarantee of Complete Removal

We cannot ensure 100% removal of contaminants due to vehicle design. A small amount may remain and cause further problems.

Disposal of Contaminated Fuel
Ownership of Contaminated Fuel

All contaminated fuel or fluid removed becomes the property of Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents.

We dispose of it in accordance with environmental rules and may levy disposal fees if not covered by the third-party arrangement.

Authorisation to Access Vehicle
Permission to Intercept

By allowing us to proceed, you authorise Simple Fuel Solutions Limited and its agents to access all necessary components of your vehicle—including interior panels—in order to perform the drain. While we will take reasonable care, we are not liable for any damage, misalignment, or incomplete reattachment of panels or components that may occur during removal or refitting.

Customer Obligations

Remove personal belongings from any areas our technician will need.

Disclose known hazards (e.g., loose wiring, modifications).

Data Protection
Customer Information

We collect only the data needed to carry out our services.

We may retain this information for follow-up and quality checks; you can opt out of any marketing communications at any time.

We do not sell or share your data outside of what is required by law or necessary to fulfil our service to the third-party provider or to dispute parking charges that may arise from attending your vehicle.

Right to Update

We reserve the right to revise these T&Cs. Any changes will be posted on our website or relayed via the third party, and continued use of our services signifies acceptance.
